14) * How do I clean my LAKEN?

16) Can I use my LAKEN with very hot liquids?

We recommend that you clean your LAKEN with warm water and soap and if the odor persists, we also recommend that you soak the bottle in a mixture of water, a quarter of a cup of white vinegar and 2-4 tablespoons of baking soda, then scrub with a dish brush, and then wash your bottle normally.

18) * My LAKEN bottle fell down and now has a dent or a scratch on the paint. Is the inside part okay? Can I continue to use my bottle?

The 2-year warranty that we offer covers all bottle manufacturing problems, not damage from use or dropping. In the case of aluminum bottles, you have no problem as its inner coating is very elastic and will not be affected as a consequence of a blow of the bottle. If you have a stainless steel thermal insulation bottle that has been dropped or hit you are not at risk from harmful substances, but the insulation is likely to be affected by the blow. In this case, you can now use it as a normal, and not heat-insulating, bottle.

19) Can I take the lid apart for better cleaning?

Some of our lids have an over-wrapped seal. In these cases futura caps in the aluminum containers and in the lids for both aluminum and stainless steel containers, it is not possible to remove the seal.
